Surprize Tortilla Quiz - Part One, Chapter Two - The American Dream

      One of my homework is called Surprize Tortilla Quiz, is about a book that we need to read every week in order to complete our homework and some other assignments, after we finished our multiple-choice quiz, we need to complete the Surprize quiz about the same chapter. Here is mine;
     
     Candidos problem is that he sounds like a machista, he does not want to let his wife look for work, and her attitude is strong and he had a point of view strange, like if everything needs to be the way he wants. His face does not look good and he needs to go to a doctor. 

     He do not want her wife to work because he is the man in the relationship, and like in Mexico that machismo still exist men is the only who "needs" to work and the women stay at house and she is the one who cleans the house and makes the food, and he had that same ideology and he does not want his wife to work only for that reason.  But more than anything she is very tiny, and he had a baby that is still not notable, she can't do much for work.  The problem is that Candidos knows that in L.A there's not fruit.

     Her attitude his strange, he acts machista and he acts like if he can do everything he wants, but most than anything he sounds stressed, and worry because they are in a very difficult situation.  Even in the difficult situation that they are, I think that he can act better and try to be grateful because his wife try to help me and give him ideas, and she even offers to work in order to help, but Candidos only laughs, I understand that he is tired, but he needs to understand that his wife wants to help, and she is not acting like a brat. Her attitude is not the best, but on another hand, I understand that he is tired and that maybe he had a sarcastic attitude for the situation.

     I believe that America attitude is not the best also, but she is trying her best, I feel that she didn't was aware of all the risks of what she is doing. She is acting like a wife, even that they are in a difficult situation she still has that wife personality. She wants to help her husband, and she gives him ideas, she is a girl with dreams, like everyone else, she is still alive, for me she still has hope, and she still believes that she can make it.

    

Tattoo Freewrite

     During class, we need to do an assignment called Tattoo Freewritte were my classmates and me, talked about an special tattoo, we need examples and many ideas of why that tattoo is significant to us, but in a more deep way. This is my tattoo;
   
  
     My tattoo is the face of an alien and down the head says "stay weird". The alien has big black eyes, the alien does not have a nose and all the face is white color, around the face, is a big galaxy with stars and many different colors, the colors are pink, blue, green, and purple. Around the ufo face, I can see a white line that separates the alien from the galaxy. For me, the galaxy behind the ufo represents an extraordinary imagination and a different type of mind. The big eyes that the alien have represents a better vision, you can see deeper than others. The quote "stay weird" means that you need to be proud of who you are.

     Be weird is okay, but be like everyone else is not okay. You need to be proud of who you are.  Sometimes the eyes show who you are.

     Be weird is better than be like everyone else because you have a different vision than others. People who think differently than others have better ideas and are innovators and on the other hand, people who think like everyone else always had similar ideas. Accept that you are different is important because you need to be proud of who you are.

     I would get a tattoo like this one because I can feel a connection. I believe in powerful minds and I think that the meaning of this tattoo is a representation of my mind and who I am, I believe that be different is better than be like everyone else. I want to have this tattoo because I want to see it every day and remember that is a representation of how I feel. Finally, I do not believe that this tattoo has the same meaning as me and the person of the picture.

Two Truths and One Lie

     On the First day of class, Mr. Lewenstein gives us an assignment called Two Truths and One Lie, after finished with the assignment we share our papers with classmates, and they need to find the lie. I can lie very easy, so my classmates do not find the lie at the beginning.















BLACK: My favorite animals are cats, I have one black cat in my house and he is the best cat I ever had. My cat is black because I love the color black, I always go to sleep with my cat. My cat sleeps in the day and sometimes in the night. His name is flaco because he is a very skinny cat. His favorite food is tuna, he can eat tuna all day and never gets fat. He hates the day because he does not like the light. he loves the night because is all dark, like his hair color. Black gives a mysterious ambient and is why I choose this color.


  ORANGE:   My favorite food is sushi, I can eat sushi all day, and every day, muy favorite sushi roll is called Cielo Mar y Tierra, but in general, I can eat all types of sushi. My favorite sushi place is located in Mexicali and is called Sakura, sometimes I go with my family to this restaurant. One day I hope to travel to Japan with my friends just because I want to try the sushi there. I have an obsession with sushi since I was 10 years old. Last time I eat sushi was 2 days ago and ate the same sushi roll as always. My favorite sushi color is orange.

   WHITE:  I have a little hamster, his name is Cheeto, because I love to eat hot Cheetos, he is very tiny and adorable, he lives alone in his little house. He likes to play in his wheel all day and he makes a lot of noise. My mother hates him because she thinks that he is ugly and she is scared of little animals. He only eats one time every day and he also drinks a lot of water. My hamster sleeps during the day and is awake and night. I want to buy a female hamster because I want them to have babies. My little hamster is white and looks more inocent.
